Use your voice to write in a text field. Dictámelo records while you hold a shortcut, then transcribes and pastes when you release it
Get started
Choose your Windows installer
Use Intel/AMD 64-bit for an x64 PC, or ARM64 for a Windows 11 ARM PC. Check System type in Windows Settings if you are unsure, then install Dictámelo
Set up your microphone and shortcut
Complete the setup assistant, allow desktop microphone access and review your dictation language. The default shortcut is Alt + Shift + Space; you can change it in Settings
Speak where you want to write
Click inside your email, document or chat. Hold the shortcut, speak, then release it and wait for the text. Review names and numbers before sending; AI cleanup is optional

Why did the text not appear in my app?
Check that the cursor is in an editable field. Windows can block pasting into an app running as administrator; in that case, paste the text from the clipboard manually
Does Windows dictation work without internet?
The current public release needs an internet connection for transcription through a cloud provider. Recording locally does not mean speech recognition runs offline
